Joseph Michael Britton

Joseph Michael “Joe” Britton, 72, of Beckley passed away on September 4, 2026, at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born in Mount Clemens, MI on October 20, 1953, to the late William A. Britton and Pearl Lucille Maskell Britton.

In addition to his parents Joe was preceded in death by brothers Bill Britton and Frank Britton.

Joe was a veteran of the US Navy with 17 years of service. He loved math and computer programing and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 37 years Kathleen Britton, her daughter, Christina and several nieces and nephews.

Per Joe’s wishes he will be cremated and his remains will be scattered in Michigan where he was born.
